The HyperAmp® HA2401GX-1000 series improves range by delivering full transmit power directly at the antenna where it is most effective. In addition the unit's receive gain compensates for cable losses. The unit can be configured to deliver the full transmit power with as little as 1 mW of input power, permitting cable runs of several hundred feet with no degradation in operating range.

Streaming Media Ready - internal heatsink designed to dissipate the extra heat generated when operating at the high duty cycles produced by streaming video or audio.

We stock these amplifiers specifically for use with Leaky Feeder. They can of course be used to increase receive gain but care must be taken to set the output power of the driving access point so that transmit power does not exceed 20 dBm to comply with Ofcom regulations.

Using amplifiers to achieve or improve a link by increasing the transmit power seldom achieves the expected result but does break the law and interferes with other users in the vicinity. Careful use of an amplifier to increase the received signal may be helpful, but bear in mind that noise is amoplified as well as the signal. The key to successful links is good receiver sensitivity.

Supplied with 12v mains PSU and UK mains lead.
