This enclosure is an add-on unit for Jirous Dish antenna which permits mounting of radio routerboards
It has mounting points for RB411, RB433, RB600, Alix 2, Alix 3, Wispstation and Compex boards: other boards can be fitted easily. The box fits onto 24, 29 and 32 dBi dishes and makes an all-in-one waterproof solution. Material is UV-stabilised heavy-duty plastic - this is not a thin plastic enclosure.
The antenna element unit fits inside the enclosure and then becomes part of the complete antenna assembly. Two cable entry glands are provided and there are knockouts whiuch enable fitting of further glands or N-jacks as there is sufficient room in the enclosure to mount more than one routerboard. The dish and board could provide backhaul while a further mimo radio board could feed antenna for local distribution.
