LANCOM Systems have developed a robust and stable access point for the use in warehouses, production halls and other sophisticated and challenging locations. The LANCOM IAP-54 is protected by a metal housing, which is IP50 dust proof. Three mounting possibilities such as mast-, wall- and rail mount accessories are included. The LANCOM IAP-54 Wireless is equipped with all professional features needed to establish a stable and secure wireless LAN infrastructure. The access point can be mounted up to 100m away from power points, supported by the PoE Power Injector.

Multiple configuration of several access points simultaneously and their management and supervision is achieved using LANCOM LANtools. TPC and DFS faciliteis areeincluded in 80211.a: the radio operates on either 2.4 or 5 GHz and the frequency is software selected.
