The MikroTik Wireless Wire (RBwAPG-60adkit) is a truly revolutionary device for short-range, high throughput backhaul. Designed to completely replace a Gigabit Ethernet cable, the Wireless Wire can achieve 1Gbps full-duplex over 200 metres, perfect for providing transparent connectivity between two locations without sacrificing LAN speeds.
This PtP Kit, comprising of two RBwAPG-60ad integrated radios, features AES encryption to create a secure, stable backhaul link of up to 1Gbps over 200 metres!
Why Use 60GHz for Wireless Backhaul?
60GHz is great for high-throughput, low latency links with line-of-sight. The unlicensed 60GHz spectrum that the Wireless Wire operates in is far less congested that traditional the 2Ghz or 5GHz spectrums which means far less RF noise and far higher performance and reliability.
