Complete dual radio unit assembled and soak tested based on PC Engines ALIX routerboard. Fitted with two Wistron CM9-GP a/b/g (100mw) radios and IkarusOS evaluation loaded on Compact Flash, this unit is ready to roll out of the box on 5.8 or 2.5 GHz, opr a combination of both.
IkarusOS is a feature-rich operating system. The Ikarus Management System is available as a free download and configures/manages the WLAN according to your requirements. The evaluation op system loaded at build time requires a licence key which can be obtained directly from antcor.com online in a couple of minutes at a cost of about £17.50.
The hardware and software are designed for professional configuration and use, i.e. require knowledge of local area networking, IP address, MAC codes and transmission powers. Where the unit uses 5.8 GHz for backhaul it requires a 'light touch' licence available from Ofcom at £50 per year + £1 per client radio.
Antenna are purchased separately: chose from our wide range of antenna from 5dBi omnis to 26dBi dishes for 20 km links. Lightweight antenna can be mounted directly onto the N jack connectors by using our N Jack-N Jack adaptor.
18 volt power supply and POE injector are included. The run of ethernet cable should not exceed 10 metres. Waterproof external Cat5e cable is available by the metre in our Cable section.
Complete with pole mount bracket suitable for poles up to 55 mm, built and 24 hour soak-tested prior to despatch.
This unit can be supplied with single radio or Compex 200 mW b/g radios (Transmit power must be adjusted to meet UK Regulations) or combination of radios to suit your needs. Please email for exact pricing.
