The Ubiquiti Rocket M5 GPS 5GHz Hi Power 2x2 MIMO AirMax TDMA Station running 802.11n

The Airmax system is designed as a carrier class system and features

The Rocket M5 GPS is a rugged, hi-power, very linear 2x2 MIMO radio with enhanced receiver performance. It features incredible range performance (50+km) and breakthrough speed (150+Mbps real TCPI/IP). The device was specifically designed for outdoor PtP bridging and PTMP Airmax base-station applications.

Rocket M and AirMax BaseStation/Rocket Antennas have been designed to seamlessly work together. Installing Rocket M on AirMax BaseStation/Rocket Antennas requires no special tools, you simply snap it into place with the mount built into the Antennas.

This unit is supplied with PSU and POE injector and our fused UK/EU round mains plug adaptor.

Please note that currently 802.11a devices are not compatible with (will not communicate with) 802.11n devices in the current implementation of Ubiquiti's operating system, AirOS V.

The Rocket M5 GPS also has an extra SMA antenna connector for a GPS (antenna supplied), giving the following extra Features:
*GPS synchronisation with Ubiquiti's AirSyn.
*GPS Signal Reporting AirOS was upgraded to easily manage/monitor GPS satellite signals.
*Reduced Co-location Interference due to synchronized transmission among Rocket M GPSs.
*Second Ethernet port (only Rocket M GPS) capable of providing power to a secondary device using PoE.
