Web telephone line extender

These units connect a POTS line to a POTS phone over the web, that is allows a normal analogue phone to connect to your normal phone line via the web, from anywhere in the world with a web connection.

Incoming calls ring the phone, outgoing calls get ordinary dial tone - the signals are conveyed over the web in between. There is no need for a server or anything elese in between - apart from a web connection.

The Line extender comes as two units. One is an 'FXO' unit that collects to the phone line and the internet through a Cat 5 ethernet cable. The second unit - 'FXS' connects to the internet via a cat5 cable and the analogue phones plugs into the phone socket. Both units are required and they come as a pair. Some simple configuration of IP addresses for the units needs to be done prior to use.
