MS Distribution Moves to Thorpe Mead - A New Home and a New Era
[PRESS RELEASE 14 February 2018, BANBURY UK] On Monday 12th February 2018, MS (Distribution) UK Ltd. moved into their new offices at Thorpe Mead industrial estate in Banbury. The move is the latest of many recent changes that we have undertaken to solidify our position as one of the best wireless specialist distribution companies in the UK and Ireland. Now that we have settled into our new home, we are ready to usher in a new era of our journey.
You may already be familiar with some of our efforts. Back in November, we entered into a partnership with Westbase Group to expand our footprint into the Enterprise market. To better handle the expansion of our customer base we made changes to how our Sales Team operates, bringing in a system of account management that allows them to form stronger relationships and provide the tailored services that we strive to offer. We also began to streamline our product portfolio, focusing on a carefully curated selection of manufacturers and products that meet the changing needs of our customers. As we move forward, we will be looking to expand that portfolio meaningfully, focusing on leading manufacturers and technologies that will truly benefit our customers.
It was with all of this in mind that we purpose-built our new offices. We pride ourselves on being not only a distributor of wireless equipment but also a team of engineers who can help you find and achieve the best solution for your needs, regardless of how simple – or complex – they may be. Our new open-plan space makes it easier for our teams to share their knowledge and experience, ensuring that our customers receive all the information they need in a quick and timely fashion.
In addition to the new offices, we have also acquired larger warehouse space. Not only does this allow us to provide stock more consistently, it also enables our Warehouse Team to perform with even greater efficiency by giving them the space and the tools they need to prepare orders of any size, be that a single box, several pallets or an entire container.
Our location was specially chosen to allow us to provide a better service to our customers. Based closer to the M40, it is now even easier for those who are collecting from us to reach us. Thorpe Mead is also home to our primary courier, Heart of England Distribution Services, this closeness now allows us to extend our next-day delivery cut-off time from 3 pm to 4 pm.

And we are far from finished. In addition to the new manufacturers that we will be adding to our portfolio, we will shortly be unveiling our new website, which will offer significant ease and improvement to the MS Distribution online shopping experience.
