This month we saw releases from MikroTik who, in addition to offering a stand-alone 60GHz LHG radio, expanded their range of wireless access points with the introduction of three dual-band wAPs.
The LHG-60 is a low-cost CPE intended for cost-effective point-to-point deployments. Ideal for forming a link of up to 800m, and a great choice for those who need to deploy short links where the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless space is crowded.
MikroTik’s new dual-band wAP AC radios come in three variants. Each one utilises the wAP’s sleek and stylish form-factor and comes with dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless as well as LTE back-up. The base model, the wAP-AC, does not include an LTE/4G modem, whilst the wAP-AC-LTE comes with a MikroTik R11e-LTE modem and the wAP-AC-4G comes with a MikroTik R11e-4G modem.
