The MikroTik SXTsq 5 ac is a compact and lightweight outdoor 5Ghz 802.11ac wireless device with an integrated antenna. Perfect for point-to-point links or as a CPE unit, the SXTsq 5 ac features a quad-core 716 MHz processor for lightning-fast performance. The device includes a Gigabit Ethernet port to fully take advantage of speeds available with the 802.11ac protocol.
The SXTsq 5 has an integrated 16 dBi antenna with an all-new design from MikroTik. In this new SXT model, the antenna design has been improved and the physical size has been dramatically reduced. Compared to the previous model, the SXT 5ac, the new SXTsq 5 is two times thinner!
The MikroTik SXTsq 5 is powered by RouterOS and includes a level 3 license. MikroTik’s RouterOS is a fully featured routing operating system which has been continuously developed and improved for over fifteen years. The level 3 license is specifically designed for WISP CPEs, supports use as a wireless client or bridge and features PPPoE, PPTP, unlimited VLAN interfaces and RADIUS client support. The included RouterOS License never expires and offers unlimited software upgrades.
The quoted wireless specification is given as the maximum radio performance. Achievable range and throughput will vary depending on the regional regulations where the radio is deployed.
