The Avocet 250 system delivers high capacity, long range coverage for Point-to-Point applications. Due to the 2x2 MIMO configurations, with two RX/TX chains for spatial diversity multiplexing, the 2x2 MIMO system delivers four times the capacity over legacy (802.11a) systems, and dramatically improves the non-line of sight (NLOS) OFDM capability.
Thanks to the integrated Gigabit Ethernet and a very powerful Networking Processor Unit, the 2x2 MIMO PtP Units provide a superior throughput of up to 250Mbp/s Ethernet speed, and a packet-per-second rate exceeding 30,000 pps.
The Avocet 250 is manufactured with a quality die-cast aluminium enclosure, aluminium antenna element and UV-stable ABS radome. All bolts and details are made from A4 stainless steel, and a mounting kit made from high quality die-cast aluminium.
