airMAX PowerBeam M2 400
airMAX PowerBeam M2 400
Product Details
The new Ubiquiti PowerBeam M2 18dBi has a compact design with uniform beam width, efficient footprint and a faster processor. The PowerBeam can be easily mounted in a variety of ways thanks to the innovative mechanical design. The Ubiquiti PowerBeam directs RF energy into a tighter beamwidth resulting with the focus in one direction so the PowerBeam blocks or spatially filters out noise, so noise immunity is improved. This feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.
This model of the PowerBeam features the Dish Reflector Design. This leverages Ubiquiti's InnerFeed technology which integrates the radio into the feedhorn of the antenna, so there is no need for any cable, improving performance by eliminating cable losses. By providing increased performance with its faster processor and innovative mechanical design at a low cost, the PowerBeam is extremely versatile and cost-effective to deploy.
The Ubiquiti PowerBeam is also compatible with the RF Armor 2/5 GHz 16 Ubiquiti NanoBridge Kit.
Quick assembly - The number of fasteners was reduced to simplify assembly. Tools are required only when the technician mounts the PowerBeam on the pole. Easy removal - The antenna feed can be detached with thepush of a button. Dish and brackets - Made of galvanized steel that is powder-coated for superior corrosion resistance. Mounting - Redesigned pole bracket for the 400 mm dish and fender washers for the 300 mm dish prevent paint from being removed from the metal brackets for improved corrosion resistance.
Innovative Mechanical Design
Corrosion Resistance
Built-in mechanical tilt - The mounting bracket conveniently offers 20 of uptilt and up to 20 of downtilt. Fasteners - GEOMET-coated for improved corrosion resistance when compared with zinc-plated fasteners.
The quoted wireless specification is given as the maximum radio performance. Achievable range and throughput will vary depending on the regional regulations where the radio is deployed.
Regional regulations must be observed when deploying radio equipment. More info
