2.4GHz Hi Power 2x2 MIMO AirMax TDMA Base Station features two channel radio outputs designed to feed dual polarity antenna and using the 2 x2 MIMO TDMA protocol to achieve 150+Mbps real TCPI/IP throughput on 802.11n.
The AirMax system is designed as a carrier class system and features
* Scalability: 300+ subs per sectored base station
* Latency: Latency remains low for voice and video applications as network scales
* Speed: 150Mbps+ PtMP performance
* Range: 50km+ outdoor range, subject to antenna, terrain and local variables
The device was specifically designed for outdoor PTP bridging and PTMP base-station applications. Pairing with Ubiquiti 2.4 GHz omni, dish or sector antenna is dead easy as the rocket clips intop a secure slot on the antenna and waterproof pigtails are supplied with the antenna for quick and easy connection. Suitable antenna are the AirMax Sector 2G-16 dBi 90, the AirMax Sector 2G-15 dBi 120, the Rocket Dish 2G-26 dBi or the Omni 2G - 10 or 13 dBi, depending on what subscriber areas are to be covered.
