The Ruckus R510 is an indoor, dual-band, 802.11ac Wave 2 access point with 2x2:2 MIMO that offers powerful performance and flexible deployment options. Designed for small and mid-size venues, such as cafes, restaurants, offices, classrooms and retail sites, the R510 can provide affordable Wi-Fi with the reliability and coverage users increasingly expect.

ZoneFlex R510 APs can be deployed as standalone APs or as part of a centrally managed wireless LAN using ZoneDirector or SmartZone Smart WLAN controllers. ZoneFlex R510 can be deployed across any L2/L3 network and can bridge traffic onto the local network, tunnel to a central location using L2TP, or route between the WAN and NATed private subnets. With the Ruckus controllers, each ZoneFlex R510 is automatically configured through the network making deployment quick and easy.

Advanced Technologies for Incredible Performance

Using the same patented technologies found in their premier high-density APs, the Ruckus R510 delivers fast data rates up to 1200 Mbps, with industry-leading Wi-Fi intelligence to extend range and mitigate interference. As part of Ruckus' 802.11ac Wave 2 rollout, the device comes with Ruckus' BeamFlex+ technology, allowing the antenna to adapt to the position and orientation of client devices. Using dual-polarized antennas the R510 adapts in real time to anticipate hand-held device movement, ensuring consistent performance.

The Ruckus R510 MU-MIMO capabilities help boost network throughput by serving multiple clients simultaneously. Non-wave 2 clients also benefit from the improved overall network performance. The R510 also features a USB port for hosting IoT devices such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
