Operating in the licenced 70/80GHz E-band, the SIAE MICROELETTRONICA ALFOplus80HD takes advantage of millimetre wave to offer a highly flexible outdoor solution for dense urban deployments. Similar to traditional microwave, the ALFOplus80HD millimetre wave platform allows users to fully bridge the existing knowledge and skills base, minimizing the introduction costs, while modernising their network.
The ALFOplus80 is a pure 1 Gbps - very low latency - transparent pipe solution at 4 QAM modulation. The capability of exploiting a fixed modulation with transparent pipe allows a latency comparable with a fibre (16us).
The SIAE MICROELETTRONICA ALFOplus80HD - 70/80GHz PtP Link requires a license to operate.
