Ubiquiti UniFi AP LR (Long Range) is a MIMO b/g/n access point system that is scalable to hundreds or thousands of units. The software for managing UniFi devices is free and downloadable from Ubiquiti. No expensive management software or hardware is required. The UniFi software can be installed on a PC or a MAC and allows the operator to instantly provision thousands of UniFi Access Points, map out networks, quickly manage system traffic, and further provision individual UniFi Access Point devices.

The UniFi AP LR is capable of throughput up to 300Mbps and the UniFi Long Range has a higher TX-Power than standard Unifi Acess Points providing the long distance connectivity.

The attractive design of the UniFi AP LR combines with out-of-the-box deployment, including wall/ceiling mount adaptor, a mains power supply and the UniFi Software Installation CD. Power and data are carried by the ethernet cable (PoE) that connects each UniFi AP Long Range to the network. This UniFi unit MUST NOT be connected to a powered hub with a 48v supply - use the Ubiquiti Instant down convertor, indoor or outdoor as appropriate.

At the front-centre of the Unifi UAP-LR is a status LED ring which can provide the administrator with location tracking and feedback for each device.

This item includes PoE injectors. UK or EU mains leads are provided based on delivery location.
