The Ubiquiti airFiber AF-5X is a connectorised variant of the airFiber 5 platform designed for long-range, Point-to-Point (PtP) backhaul links. It features the highest TDD throughput available and proprietary HDD for ultra-low latency. Ubiquitis INVICTUS custom silicon and proprietary radio architecture are designed specifically for long-distance, outdoor wireless applications.

The compact form factor allows the AF-5X to be used with the new airFiber Slant 45 antennas, or to instantly upgrade a Rocket link that uses a RocketDish RD-5G30 / RD-5G34 antenna (additional performance can be gain by using the RocketDish to airFiber Conversion Kit.

The Ubiquiti airFiber 5X features industry-leading 10.6 bps/Hz spectral efficiency, covering the entire 5 GHz spectrum with one radio, and delivering up to 500+ Mbps real throughput and 200+ km range. Channel width flexibility allows TX and RX channel frequencies to be independently configured and placed anywhere within the radio band to avoid local interference. Uplink and downlink also have the ability to programmed with different duty cycles to support asymmetric traffic requirements.

This item includes PoE injectors. UK or EU mains leads are provided based on delivery location.
