MikroTik netPower Lite 8P – Outdoor PoE Switch with Built-In UPS Support
The MikroTik netPower Lite 8P is a compact outdoor PoE switch designed to deliver reliable network connectivity with built-in power resilience. It combines eight Gigabit Ethernet ports with 802.3af and 802.3at PoE output, dual 10G SFP+ uplinks, and an integrated UPS switchover system, making it well suited to deployments where uptime is critical. Support for an external 24 V battery via a smart charger allows connected devices to remain powered during grid outages.
Designed for flexible installations, the netPower Lite 8P supports a wide 24–57 V DC input range through a 2-pin terminal and can continue delivering PoE output even when operating from lower-voltage DC sources. Running SwOS Lite, it offers straightforward management for monitoring ports, traffic, and power usage. When input power is limited, the device intelligently prioritises PoE output to keep essential equipment online while reducing battery charging load.
Housed in a rugged enclosure and rated for operation from –40 °C to +70 °C, the netPower Lite 8P is built for demanding outdoor and industrial environments. An integrated temperature sensor ensures safe and efficient battery charging, while compatibility with multiple battery types adds deployment flexibility. This makes it a strong choice for CCTV systems, wireless backhaul, apartment buildings, utilities, and smart-city networks requiring continuous operation.
