FAQs

Q1. What is the Teltonika 5G Combo MIMO Mobile/GNSS/Wi-Fi Roof SMA Antenna PR1KC640 used for?
A. The Teltonika 5G Combo MIMO Mobile/GNSS/Wi-Fi Roof SMA Antenna PR1KC640 is a multi-function outdoor antenna designed to enhance 5G/LTE, GNSS (GPS), and Wi-Fi signals in a single unit. It is ideal for vehicles, industrial deployments, and IoT installations where reliable multi-network connectivity and positioning are required.

Q2. What frequency bands and wireless technologies does the PR1KC640 support?
A. The antenna supports wide 5G/LTE bands (617–960 / 1710–2690 / 2900–4200 MHz), dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), and GNSS frequencies (1164–1300 / 1559–1610 MHz). This ensures compatibility with modern cellular, wireless LAN, and satellite positioning systems.

Q3. How does the PR1KC640 connect to routers or gateways?
A. The antenna includes 7 integrated 3 m cables (LMR100) with connectors: 4× SMA (cellular MIMO), 2× RP-SMA (Wi-Fi MIMO), and 1× SMA (GNSS). These connect directly to compatible routers and gateways with multiple antenna ports.

Q4. Is the PR1KC640 suitable for outdoor and harsh environments?
A. Yes. The PR1KC640 features an IP67-rated UV-resistant enclosure (excluding cable outlet) and operates in temperatures from −40 °C to +85 °C, making it suitable for exposed outdoor, rooftop, or vehicle installations.

Q5. What performance benefits does the MIMO and GNSS design provide?
A. The antenna delivers 4×4 MIMO for cellular and 2×2 MIMO for Wi-Fi, improving throughput and signal reliability. The GNSS module includes a 40 dB LNA gain with RHCP polarisation, enabling accurate positioning and stable satellite reception.
