The 60° Asymmetrical Horn TP Antenna offers a unique blend of high gain and zero side lobes, combining the benefits of a traditional sector antenna and a horn antenna. Its radiation pattern is broad in the azimuthal plane, while narrow in elevation, providing more options for coverage planning.

This antenna surpasses traditional patch sector antennas in stability, gain, and radiation pattern throughout the entire operating band. It also boasts exceptional noise rejection and precise radiation pattern, making it ideal for high-density AP clusters, densely populated areas, and crowded co-location sites. Equipped with their innovative TwistPort connector, which features a twist-and-lock waveguide port, this antenna offers virtually lossless connectivity and represents a significant shift in wireless network scalability and deployment convenience. The 60° Asymmetrical Horn TP Antenna is compatible with a wide range of third-party radios through their TPA TwistPort Adaptor.

FAQs

Q1: What is the RF Elements 60° Asymmetrical Beam Antenna HG3‑TP‑A60 and what is it used for?
A: The RF Elements 60° Asymmetrical Beam Antenna HG3‑TP‑A60 is a high‑performance outdoor antenna designed for point‑to‑multipoint (PtMP) wireless deployments. It provides a 60° asymmetrical coverage pattern that helps deliver focused signal strength over a wide sector while controlling interference.

Q2: What does the “asymmetrical beam” mean for this antenna?
A: An asymmetrical beam means the antenna’s coverage pattern is shaped to extend and concentrate signal strength more in one direction than the other, enabling targeted coverage where needed while minimising signal spill in less critical areas.

Q3: What does the “60°” specification refer to?
A: The 60° refers to the horizontal beamwidth of the antenna, indicating the angle of signal spread across the coverage area. A 60° beam provides broad sector reach with focused performance, ideal for mid‑range sector applications.

Q4: Where is the HG3‑TP‑A60 antenna typically deployed?
A: This antenna is ideal for wireless ISP base stations, campus networks, fixed‑wireless access points, and rural broadband deployments where controlled sector coverage and efficient signal distribution are required.

Q5: What physical and environmental features does the HG3‑TP‑A60 offer?
A: The HG3‑TP‑A60 is built with a rugged outdoor housing designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions. It supports mast or pole mounting for secure installation and dependable outdoor wireless performance.
