RF elements 60° Symmetrical Horn Carrier Class Antennas Gen2
The RF elements 60° Symmetrical Horn Carrier Class Antennas Gen2 provide exceptional RF performance in a compact design. These antennas feature symmetrical main beams, with the same beam width in both the Vertical and Horizontal planes. With minimal side lobes, they effectively suppress interference, making them perfect for installations with close client proximity and null zone concerns.
The unique radiation patterns and compact size also allow for high density AP clusters and radio co-location. Additionally, the HG3-CC Gen2 antennas have undergone several improvements in RF performance and design, including a lighter body, improved bracket, and a more durable radome made with only two sizes. The N-female connector is standard on all HG3-CC Gen2 antennas.

FAQs
Q1: What is the RF Elements Symmetrical Horn Carrier Class Gen 2 HG3‑CC‑S60 and what is it used for?
A: The RF Elements Symmetrical Horn Carrier Class Gen 2 HG3‑CC‑S60 is a high‑performance horn‑style wireless antenna designed for outdoor point‑to‑multipoint (PtMP) networks. It provides wide sector coverage with a controlled beam pattern for reliable and uniform signal distribution.
Q2: What does the “60°” beamwidth mean for this antenna?
A: The 60° horizontal beamwidth describes how broadly the antenna spreads the wireless signal. A 60° beam balances wide area coverage with focused performance, making it well‑suited to sector coverage where many clients need consistent connectivity.
Q3: What benefits does the symmetrical horn design offer?
A: The symmetrical horn design delivers uniform radiation with minimal sidelobes, reducing interference and improving consistency across the coverage area. This results in better throughput and reliable connections in dense or high‑traffic wireless environments.
Q4: What applications is the HG3‑CC‑S60 antenna ideal for?
A: This horn antenna is ideal for wireless ISP base stations, campus networks, fixed‑wireless access points, and other PtMP deployments where broad, stable sector coverage and interference resistance are priorities.
Q5: What physical and environmental features does the HG3‑CC‑S60 offer?
A: The antenna is built with a rugged outdoor housing designed to withstand environmental stresses and temperature variation. It supports mast or pole mounting for secure installation and long‑term performance in outdoor network deployments.
