The Tycon Systems TP-DCDC-1248D converts DC to DC at low cost and high reliability. It can provide 48VDC Power over Ethernet from 12 or 24V battery systems, with an integrated POE injector for the CAT5/6 Ethernet cable. It accepts input voltage between 9VDC and 36VDC and outputs regulated 48VDC. It has two common (-) and two (+) connections for two power sources and includes protections for surge, short circuit, and overload. The input and output are isolated and it comes in a metal enclosure option for industrial use.
