This 48v power supply is designed for use with Ubiquiti Outdoor Instant 802.3af 48v to 16v, perfect for situations where a powered 48v switch is not accessible. By utilising 48v supplies, ethernet cables can be extended up to 100 metres. However, please note that this unit should not be directly connected to Ubiquiti devices with a maximum input of 24v. Doing so without the Ubiquiti Outdoor Instant 802.3af 48v to 16v may result in damage to the device.
