 The Tycon TP-POE-24G is a reliable, long-lasting midspan power source that operates in tough conditions. Data is input through a shielded RJ45 Jack and power and surge protection are provided through the output jack. A locking 4 pin mini-din plug is used for DC input from a power supply. Power is supplied to the remote device through Ethernet pins 4,5(V+) and 7,8(V-), with support for distances up to 100m. The unit accepts AC inputs from 90VAC to 264VAC (50/60 Hz) and provides regulated 24v DC output. It comes with a UK mains lead and has built-in surge, short circuit, overload, and overvoltage protection. Splitters are available for devices that do not support power over Ethernet.
